The University of Vavuniya will entertain applications from suitably qualified persons for the following
posts up to 06th December 2024.
A. Post of University Medical Officer (On Assignment)
Qualifications:
– Medical Degree of a recognized University with at least 03 years’ experience as a
Medical Practioner.
-Common Facts: Appointment will be made initially for a period of six months and extendable for
further period.
-Salary: Rs. 103,000.00 p.m (Fixed)
-Note: If suitable Medical Officers are not available, Retired Medical Officer will be
considered for appointment.
B. Instructor in Computer Technology (On Contract) in the Department of Physical
Science, Faculty of Applied Science
Qualifications:

Salary: Rs. 50,625.00 pm (Fixed) in addition to the salary, the allowances approved by
the University Grants Commission will also be paid.
