The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has announced the schedule for the practical component of the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Home Economics examination.
​According to a media directive issued by the Commissioner General of Examinations, H.J.M.C. Amith Jayasundara, the practical examinations are scheduled to take place from January 24, 2026, to February 2, 2026. The exams will be conducted at 42 examination centers across the island.
​Issuance of Admission Cards
​The Department stated that admission cards have already been dispatched via post:
- School Candidates:Â Admission cards have been sent to the Principals of their respective schools.
- ​Private Candidates: Admission cards have been mailed to the postal addresses provided in their applications.
​Online Facility for Missing Admissions
​Candidates who have not received their admission cards are advised not to panic. The Department has made arrangements for candidates to download a copy of their admission card via the official website (www.doenets.lk). This facility will be available starting from January 19, 2026.
