The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has announced the commencement of applications for its Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS) Honours Degree Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year. Prospective students can submit their applications online from May 15, 2025, until the closing date of June 15, 2025.

- Selection Test:Â July 6, 2025 (11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., paper-based)

Admission Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Three passes in the Science stream (including Chemistry) at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in one sitting.
- Simple pass (S)Â in English at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level or an equivalent qualification.
- Eligibility based on a selection test/interview.
Note: Diploma holders in Medical Laboratory Technology from the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka, may qualify for 30 credits exemption at Level 3.
