Job Scope
Responsible to deliver Aircraft Maintenance services to support the operational requirements as directed by the customer airline supervision (On board Engineer) and will endure all maintenance and related activates are performed in accordance with the Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited/customer airline procedures and supplied aircraft maintenance data.
Key Responsibilities
i Every aircraft gate and aircraft hard standing position must receive a foreign object debris inspection “FOD Walk” prior to every flight arrival and again prior to each departure.
ii Performing Marshaling to guide pilots to turn, slow, down, stop and shut down engines, leading the aircraft to its parking stand or runway.
iii Refueling the aircraft with specific fuel according to company procedures and customer airline guidelines in order to enable the aircraft to continue its journey.
iv Using headset to communication without the need to hold a separate communication device, freeing up their hands to work on specific tasks. This enables technician to perform maintenance procedures efficiently and safety without interruptions.
v Performing pre-flight and post flight inspections as per specified schedules and procedures to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and ready for flight. This may involve checking control surfaces, fluid, levels, tires, brakes, and other critical components.
- Qualification :
- i Should have Passed the GCE (O/L) Examination
AND
ii Should have a relevant vocational, tertiary or trade qualification from a recognized Aeronautical College - Experience : Should possess Five (05) years’ experience within the Commercial Air Transport Line maintenance operation on modern Jet Aircraft.
- Age : Age should be below 45 years at the closing date of applications.
