Important Notes
- Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens with the physical and mental fitness to serve in any part of the country.
- Selected candidates for Port Security Guard will not be considered for any other post for a period of 10 years other than the security service.
- Selected candidates for Fireman will not be transferred to any other post for a period of 10 years.
- Candidates assigned to the Special Investigation Division must be engaged in armed forces / police / criminal investigation duties.
- All applicants must pass the written and/or practical and oral examination for the respective post.
- Applicants must have good conduct, pass a medical examination as required, and be subject to the decision of the Interview Board.
- These are permanent positions with entitlement to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).
- Government / State corporation employees must submit applications through their respective Department / Institution Head, along with a release note if selected.
