Prime Minister announces solution to teacher shortage soon
Prime Minister and Minister of Education Harini Amarasuriya has announced that the government has taken steps to resolve the country’s long-standing teacher shortage by March 2026.
He further pointed out that legal action has already been taken in this regard and that advice will be sought from the district governors.
