University Admissions for 2023/2024 Academic Year Now Open in Sri Lanka
The University Grants Commission (UGC) is inviting applications for university admission in Sri Lanka for the academic year 2023/2024.
Are you eligible?
This application period is open to students who met the minimum requirements for university entrance based on their 2023 General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination results.
Key Eligibility Requirements:
- Subject Grades: You must have achieved at least three “S” grades in approved subjects in a single sitting. A maximum of three attempts at the exams is allowed.
- Common General Paper (CGP): A minimum score of 30% is required in the CGP.
Important Notes on CGP Score:
- Applicants who haven’t achieved 30% in the CGP are currently ineligible for admission based on their Z score.
- However, if you previously scored 30% or higher in the CGP within your three attempts, that score may still be considered.
- If you haven’t reached 30% in any attempt, you must retake and pass the CGP within your remaining attempts to qualify for your chosen program.
